Grace Jones at Space was a major highlight of my 20yr clubbing career, period!

Posts / 13 RA Since / Nov 2007 | #10 / Sun, 01 Nov 09 15:10 tottaly agree about monza... last year was pretty good ' but not good inough for remember for tol long ( because it was fresh and new ... and excited ) .... and this year it was boring disaster ... most of the peple din't danced only talked with each other... aufull sound of the half privilege only ruined the vibe... boring set from ricardo @ closing party ... totally disapointment....
on the other hand... closing of amnesia FEAT MatinEe closing party was awesome... with great vibe ' excellent music and massive after party that ended at 4 pm next day.... wonderfull party....
i hope that monza will find new home for 2010 season ... otherwise their ibiza carier will end

i was there, it was actually my brithday and i was seriously disappointed. obviously it wasn't back to back, nothing resembling it in fact, instead both played 30 mintue sets......sasha spent diggers' sets in another room, so when he started playing again, there was no continuity at all and the music lacked groove as both of them just boshed it harder for their 30 minutes. i think both have still got something to offer on their own in the right time and right place, but for a long time now, sasha and digweed b2b just hasn't worked. they know this themselves.

Here is to 2010! I'm honestly already buzzing. Hope DC-10 comes back next year proper, not just for one night. Then I might just have to make it a 2 week event. One week just doesn't feel like it is enough.

it's all about context really. grace jones on a comeback tour, fair enough, bit of old hat maybe. in ibiza, there are obvious reasons why a gig there is more significant and poignant.
