| #1 / Mon, 09 Nov 09 11:02 Nosaj Thing, truly thoughtful and experimental artist. Music without creative or idea boundries. Sounds that use today's modern tools with great taste and skill. Music that mirrors the logic and activity of the brain but also has its emotion and soul of the heart. That combination nets amazing music... He has cool tracks that could have also been featured, no shortage. 1685 Bach Coat Of Arms Aquarium California is coming up nicely when it comes to IDM/EDM talent, forget those stereotypes.

| #5 / Tue, 10 Nov 09 01:32 I had a cool time chatting and getting to know a little of Jason and his influences while I was making images for this project. I was thinking of some ideas, chilling at home when I was introduced to the project; I picked up drift on itunes...
Quest, Fog, IOIO,and Light#1 are my favorite tracks.
Thanks Jeff, Jason and Todd Burns. -chris

| #7 / Tue, 10 Nov 09 11:58 This is a great record. One that steadily grew on me after every play. I'm glad to hear that he's been well received in EU during this tour, as outside of Cali, that's where I see his greatest opportunities for success. But as this movement gains more momentum outside of the Cali/US west coast, he will benefit from the harvest. His video instillations which he's developing will also be an added lagniappe to his shows.

| #8 / Tue, 10 Nov 09 13:13 Great words, and beautiful photos. Drift is among my favorites this year. I also wrote a feature piece in early 2009 on Nosaj Thing - here, if interested.

| #12 / Tue, 10 Nov 09 17:31 I definitely think the guy has a lot of talent but for me, Drift started to tire after a few listens. It may be too clean for my taste. I can't really put my finger on it, but there's just something missing in his sound that I don't sense in the tunes of other LA beatsmiths. In any case I'll definitely check out his next record-loads of potential for Nosaj.
Also, he puts on a great live show. When I saw him play in ATL he was throwing in all kinds of great G-Funk samples.

| #13 / Tue, 10 Nov 09 20:40 Excellent write up, and right on the tip of what is going down here in LA. I am so fortunate to get to hear Nosaj play out all the time. He deserves every accolade that is coming his way!! Much love!
