Back and providing the proper-Thursday-night-business, is Digweed with his Bedrock night at Heaven, London. This is possibly the biggest all rounded Bedrock line-up London has seen to date with a dozen talented DJs to be featured at this special Easter event.

The main room will feature hot youngster JZ along side Phil Thompson warming things up and the master, John Digweed. The Album Launch for the latest Bedrock Breaks release will host the Star Bar with Meat Katie, Coombes and Dylan Rhymes, while James Holden, Lisle and Cass keep the Dakota bar properly thumping and if you really needed some more quality music Demi and his Deeper Substance will be hosting the Soundshaft room with Desyn and Alex Sansford. The full line-up is planned as follows;

The event is this coming Thursday (April 8), is going to be huge and will easily sell-out. If you want to enjoy this night, and you should with Friday being a public holiday and all (you really have no excuse), you will want to get down their early so you don’t miss out.

yeah this thing will que around the corner and past charing cross.

will have to arrive 10pm I imagine, and even then I would expect cuing. last time sasha and diggers played there was still huge ques well into the morning.

is there a way to guarantee entry? like paying guestlist.. or even the non-paying kind?

there's no paying guestlist (i tried that one!). they sent me an email backing advising me to get there around 9pm

That's it! I'm not looking in the UK Forums anymore. Everytime I come in here, there's another night that I would kill to go to. What a lineup!! So not fair!! I think I would keel over from shock if a lineup like that appeared in Sydney.

Should be a killer night...apparently there are some rather large after parties planned, so this could go well into Friday.

bedrock always has a variety of afterparty action
perfect way to have a big mash up
spend the friday afternoon + saturday in recovery mode and then onto somewhere sat night
and maybe back at heaven sunday for subliminal with morillo

nah the gayness at bedrock just represents by staffing the bar. fairly good looking shirts off lads.

it is a welcome change to some of the bedrock face chewers. some of which are old. at the sasha sardines experience, i had the misfortune of seeing a 40+ yr old women just dacing away in her bra and jeans and stretch marks. ew. and it wasnt even one of the darker parts of the club. still scared.

massive respect on the 411 call. i thought i was the only white man that cant jump still using the lingo.

Hahah.. i've seen ageing booners swinging around in a bra.. and then into topless And then theres the middle-age woman who gets mashed with her daughter at Koma+Bones.. mmmhmm.

Sad that i missed a lot of Zabiela's set.. although what i heard while being in the coat check queue was good.
Meat Katie was slamming it out to a half empty room at times (which was sorta nice to have some space) and the bass was extra barfy. Baaaaarf baaaass!
The only gripe i had was the lights in the main room making me paranoid that an epileptic fit may kick in at any moment.

zabiela, zabiela, zabiela. ever increasing amazement. wicked.

we had loads of fun, zab dropped some huge bombs- but he was a little rollercoastery for me...

and as far as i know heaven always keeps their -friendly-- [gay]bar staff regardless of the nite

metkatie rocked it, thought coombs was a little blah at times though but i didnt stick around for much of his set

Was a great night. Cass rocked the Dakota bar, after Lisle up'ed the tempo very early. Holden was good to see as i have not seen him before. Interesting, but not all that.

Nothing wrong with some buff bar staff

p.s currently i cannot think of any body better than Brad Pitt in Fight Club.. but kudos to Ryan Philippe a-la Studio54 in those short-shorts and Travolta bustin' the grooves on that coloured dancefloor in Saturday Night Fever
