Bumble (Sydney, NSW)
www.myspace.com/akinode
Regen RecordsSTYLE: WIDE including; Wonky, wobbly, IDM, Dub-step, breaks, down-beat, glitch-hop and so on………
The solo project of bumble is a hive of audio vibrations set into the air by an infatuation of audio play and music composition. It is the reflection of nature that constantly surrounds bumble on flights, and is the soundtrack to his often hermitudinal life (much to do in the hive). People know bumble as max.
After coming to the psychedelic fray through the underground outdoor music festival scene in 1998, the driving power of stomach rumbling bass wobbling- heavily psychedelic music has captured his creative attention.
Creating sonically diverse music within software platforms, using software and hardware synths, the unifying theme of his music reflects nature, experience, perception and aspires to spark connection.
Max has been playing bass-heavy, up-beat and down-beat creations in NSW, Victoria and Queensland (and recently in BA, Argentina) since the beginning of 2006. Recently playing mainstage at both the 2009 Tribeadelic and Cairns Winter Solstice Festivals. Max finds much pleasure in honestly recreating his music in a live context through playing in live synth and continually adding and filtering elements on the fly.

Daheen (Sydney, NSW)
www.myspace.com/daheen
Regen RecordsThe Daheen psytrance experience is something to behold. He has aimed to create a distinctive style, fusing sounds and melodies to tell a story or convey a concept, as well as provide a stomping good dance. He incorporates many samples from the real world, especially animal sounds as seen in his popular track ‘Jungle Juice’ released on EPP Records in 2004. His unique live set has to be seen to be believed, providing a visual theatrical element which believe it or not features animals playing guitar! Incorporating different masks and costumes to go with each differently themed track, the Daheen live psy set is extremely entertaining, comical, bizarre, and a great dance. Daheen has been showcasing his live performance up and down the east coast of Australia as well as recent performances in the UK and on the European festival circuit. Recent releases include 'Direct flight' - a track with Psyboriginal on his album "Unleashed", and 'Regrowth' - from the debut Regen Records compilation "Tree Dimensional". Stay tuned for the Daheen full length psytrance album coming soon.

Paqman (Melbourne, VIC)
www.myspace.com/paqmanelectronica www.facebook.com/paqmanelectronica www.twitter.com.paqmanband Ditching a career halfway down the halls of power, paqman made the move from Canberra to the greener, more hip pastures of Melbourne last year. Since trying to make their way up from the bottom yet again, the big beat duo have refined their experimental electronic sound to something a little more indie, a tad bit hip hop, dark like the backroom and a whole lot more dancefloor friendly. Paqman incorporate deep melodics and huge beats around a grinding analogue sound, a new trend in electronic music that's ready and able to shake the genre to it's roots. A sound that will make electro giants rethink the direction of dance music.
Having supported the big names in dance since the age of 15 (Endorphin, Akufen, The Aston Shuffle and Gareth Emery to name but a few), the now 20 year olds have been persistently producing electronica the likes of which are rare to find. When not in the studio the two are constantly in transit between their two hometowns, playing shows from all ages events to clubs and outdoor dance festivals such as Dragon Dreaming. After winning the approval of prog-houser Jaytech, their talents were recognised by a 60 minute live set aired on Triple J's 'Mix Up'. Shortly after, they placed second in a global remix competition for the song Salmon Dance, by their big beat heroes The Chemical Brothers. In 2007 they self released a progressive concept album titled 'Deux' cementing them as valuable contributors to the Canberran music scene, and not as your average cookie-cutter house producers.
But the band draw influence from well outside the dance genre. Progressive rock outfits Tool and The Mars Volta pull the boys in one direction, whilst hip hop trendsetters Dr Dre and the Wutang Clan pull in another. Mellow and melodic duo Air, along with heavyweights Daft Punk, inspire paqman with the golden era of French house. But it's the sound of '95 - '97, that of the big beat movement, pioneered by their idols The Chemical Brothers that drive the boys in their homebuilt studio of dirty machines and smoke. Their music is screaming from the rooftops for a big beat revival; and it's just about their time.

Anjay (Canberra, ACT)Anjay music comes from another place let it be breaks or tech house over years it shares the same common themes “dark and driving”. Anjays prime motivation is to touch the darker/deeper emotions with his DJing and production.
During early 2000’s within the breaks genre he has supported such internationals as Adam Freeland, Tayo and Rennie Pilgrim to name a few. He is a dj/producer who is trying to find a style that can be only described as “dark” and sometimes “claustrophobic”.
Now heading into 2010 playing a mix of minimal and tech house sounds. He still showcases the “dark” and “claustrophobic” style that made him renowned with Canberra and national audiences. With a album and ep due out in 2010. You have been warned.

Peekz (Canberra, ACT)
www.facebook.com/pages/DJ-Peekz/9730302843
Trancetribe Recordings2009 Has definitely been a step up for Peekz. Already a local known in the prog/trance scenes for many years, the year began with a big support slot for Australia's #1 voted DJ, TyDi, which drew rave reviews. Following on from there saw Peekz become a regular for Pang! nights of the progressive variety with support slots for acts such as Morgan Page (US), Adam K (CAN), Hook & Sling (SYD) and local heroes Aston Shuffle. Not content with that for a bio line, he then upped the ante with 2 more huge supports in the progressive arena, closing for Anthony Pappa (UK/AUS) and playing not only before, but after the legendary Nick Warren (UK).
You'd think that would be enough in a 6 month stint to rest your laurels on, but that wasn't the case. Another support slot warming up for TyDi then followed, and June saw Peekz taking out the 2009 Pang! DJ competition. The 2nd half of 2009 is what could be the cherry on the cake thus far, a support slot for Hybrid (UK) whom Peekz lists as one of his biggest influences, add to this two more support slots for TyDi, support for Marlo (NL/AUS) and a slot at Canberra's biggest party of 2009, Foreshore.
