Can't really complain I suppose had it pretty good up to now.. wonder what sort of cover charge they are thinking of.

hmm does this mean the drink prices will go down. i thought that was the deal there - no entry fee but drink prices were more to make the money - anyway not a fan of this new t bar - its like being at a sweaty sports club than a music venue

Agree. free before 10 £4 before midnight & £7 thereafter (is what I like). I just picked these numbers randomly, I hope they do the same.

Also, have they gotten rid of those damn glass water bottles yet?

To answer a few of these - yes we got rid of the glass water bottles. Expected door charge will be free before 11pm, £7 after. Our drinks prices are actually in line with bar prices and therefore considerably cheaper than club prices. Originally we used to pour doubles as standard which I think is what made it appear they were a little hefty but we have reverted to singles as standard now so no nasty surprises at the bar.
In terms of air con, we are well aware we need it and it is top on the list of our priorities.

sounds pretty fair and reasonable to me

£7 is not bad at all really. And I think the drink prices are reasonable.. much prefer singles over compulsory doubles.

I'm guessing thats because Magda was playing. Any other night you would have felt alot better.

I'm guessing not. On every occasion I been, I've felt like I was in my "advanced years" (30 hoops, like MJ "You Are Not Alone"). No biggie though, generally a good crowd (High Horse Friday gets special props for that Tama night)

You can say that, its quite ok ;)

The proposed charges sound fair to me and its good the allow peeps to buy singles. It would probably encourage takings, though I do prefer doubles anyway Drunk

Hey everyone - please remember we are not charging until January 15th (except of course for NYE and NYD). Until then we have the fantastic 12 Days of T Bar to make the most of! Check out www.tbarlondon.com/ and RA for listings....

not a fan of tbar - it feels like a conservatory or pavilion and the funktion one just doesn't fit well with the room downstairs. 'free' is all it had going for it for me really.

it's entirely a matter of necessity...

they used to do good business because of their shoreditch location, but the 2 times I've been since they moved it was only a group of hardcore fans who bothered to make the treck... it's either this or they announce bankruptcy.

Hey guys - firstly - anyone that has played for us since we have moved has agreed that the sound is better now than ever before. Secondly I cannot accept with the line ups we have brought everyone for the last five years that the only thing that we had going for us was that we were free. The fact that thousands of people have had memorable nights at T Bar has had nothing to do with it being free but because we have committed to trying to bring the best rave possible. So I hope you enjoy the 12 Days and stick with us in the New Year and beyond.....

T Bar is the Flagship venue of the East End, with quality DJ's throughout the years, it has looked after us when we the creative / raver has had no golden coins... the new pricing policy shouldn't deter true party goers, however, I think it will make us appreciate the times we spend their, giving Tbar the value it much deserves.
