| #8 / Wed, 09 Dec 09 19:12 just talking about the 1200's with a friend the other day. it is pretty effing amazing how hard they nailed these things down over three decades ago, and have not changed their recipe hardly at all. keep it real.

| #28 / Thu, 21 Apr 11 15:37 (Edited: 21 Apr 11 15:52) Ha ha... some online and storefront retail sites should reduce their prices now. After the rumour I saw the Technics SL-1210MK5 Golds listed for something crazy like $2500 dollars each and I bought mine six years ago for like $1,200 for a pair. The normal 1210 MK5s are going for $999 on B&H in New York and the MK5 Golds are listed for £1,399 on HTFR and £999 on Decks.co.uk. That is insane but I hope the rumour didn't result in some one spending too much on some. Technics needs to try and do a digital deck again that won't be a flop. They need to make some deck that can REALLY compete and beat the features of Pioneer. I'M DEAD SERIOUS ABOUT THIS and may'be it doesn't have to include an optical drive and work perfect with DVS. (so that I use it with my Allen & Heath mixer and not feel so guilty).

| #34 / Mon, 22 Aug 11 19:05 I have a pair of Technics 1210 LTD edition gold plated. I am telling you that no CDs or downloads will ever outplay vinyl. The best sound, experience and lots of joy I had over last 35 years of playing music. Looking forward to at least another 35 years of pleasure. Technics forever x

| #35 / Mon, 22 Aug 11 19:09 I am a full supporter for vinyl... For the sound, the practicality (apart from the weight), the beauty, the art work around the vinyl (super important), the final product... Is it love? Maybe Long live vinyl and Technics too by the way.
