| #0 / Thu, 20 May 04 08:28 Paul Crossman is no stranger to the Aussie shores, having toured here several times under both his aliases, General Midi and Starecase. The last time was just two months ago, so the multi faceted breaks/house producer/DJ practically qualifies as a local (under the same logic that makes Russel Crowe Australian).
What keeps him coming back? RA got a brief moment to talk to Crossman about his previous tours, why he continues to visit oz, his thoughts on the recent industry dropouts and a few details about himself and his production partner Al Wason.

| #3 / Mon, 10 May 04 12:24 Sounds interesting. Just a quick question though.... General Midi is half of Starecase right?! I thought Starecase was two people.

| #4 / Mon, 10 May 04 14:02 yep. starecase and midi are the same duo, but they use different names depending on the style of the production. if its breaks, its a midi track. if its song based prog stuff, then call it starecase.
its a bit like Aquasky do with that being their d'n'b name and Aquasky vs Masterblaster covering their breaks tracks. Then you have NuBreed doing their thing, and their alias the Dirty Four used to cover their 4/4 stuff.
hit the features section for our interview from the Two Tribes Tour or DJ page to learn more about General Midi and Starecase!

| #7 / Tue, 11 May 04 20:36 I've said it b4 and i'll say it again, Gavin Keitel is one of Australia's most underrated DJ's. Sunny don't just let anyone onto their lineup. You rock Gavin and you're a top bloke as well. PS. Let us know when you have another vinyl sale cos for a dj just starting out, the quality second hand wax really helps.
