| #8 / Fri, 29 Jan 10 09:23 I don't really feel this whole dub/tech movement at all. However, with that said, I did really enjoy 'A Mutual Antipathy' so I will definitely check this out.

| #14 / Sun, 07 Mar 10 02:38 I got my hands on a promo copy... I'll be honest, this is one of the best albums i ever heard. Scuba takes it to another level.

 | RA Review The advantage of being the younger sibling isn't just having someone to look up to, but also being able to learn from their mistakes. So it is with dubstep producers, who might have started out borrowing the attitude of their predecessors in drum & bass, but subsequently seem to have avoided many of..

| #16 / Tue, 23 Mar 10 09:40 Roni SIze's follow up to New Forms was actually the Breakbeat Era album... which was sick. But I get your point.
Had this on promo for a while but not dedicated enough time to it yet, think I'll dig it out tonight

| #19 / Tue, 23 Mar 10 10:57 (Edited: 23 Mar 10 11:03) Great stuff once again from Scuba. Good point about the difference between dubstep and dnb's trajectories too - glad to see there hasn't been the same trend towards pretentious, bloated proggy albums (see Goldie's Saturnz Return, Grooverider's Mysteries of Funk, T-Power's second album) in dubstep. I'm still waiting for a dubstep record as coherent and brilliant as T-Power's first one though.

| #20 / Tue, 23 Mar 10 11:06 Timeless and New Forms I found massively disappointing when they dropped. Patchy, coffee-table jazz wank in the most part with a few genuinely awe-inspiring moments. Check Guy Called Gerald's Black Secret Technology for the jungle jaw-drop.
I think it's fair to say dubstep has thrown up its fair share of excellent albums - 2562, Burial, Martyn, Scuba's first - and here is another one. I don't really get the jungle-dubstep nuum anyway, dubstep being far closer in feel to UKG, nor why there needs to be explicit comparisons between genres.

| #24 / Tue, 23 Mar 10 12:39 (Edited: 23 Mar 10 12:45) Still getting aquainted with this one and feel there's a lot going on there. I hated the ugly first album and this one's a bit of a revelation.
The review's a little underwhelming, IMO.

| #26 / Tue, 23 Mar 10 13:37 Without DNB there would be no dubstep. Simple as that. Just like there would have been no rock & roll without the blues. You can hate on DNB all you want, but without it, guys like Burial and Scuba would never of had the inspiration to do what they do.

| #32 / Tue, 23 Mar 10 21:59 i live in part of the world where dnb, dubstep....the annoying variety and glitch hop are the popular electronic music and it blows.........but scuba makes real music which i actually like

| #45 / Mon, 29 Mar 10 10:16 For me one of the highlights of the year so far. The mood and vibe is altering from straight dubstep (whatever that may be ) over house, techno and even ambient. This doesn't prevent the album to sound as a whole, instead of just a collection of tunes. Very strong one!

| #47 / Fri, 02 Apr 10 22:50 holy fuck. i've listened to the first three tracks so far and i love it. some production parts remind me of Burial, but not in a bad way, he borrows some things but always creates his own...that's only so far! wow.
