Omnipresent on vinyl from the tail end of the 20th century to the first half of the '00s on their prolific Music For Freaks label, Luke Solomon and Justin Harris, AKA Freaks, resurface on Crosstown Rebels, showing that they've lost none of their edge with a typically off-kilter production.

i was very enthusiat to see a new freaks release but it's all dissapointing. for me the freaks days are over. where are the freaks that made 'turning orange', 'deck of cards', 'high spirits', 'doobiedoo' and all that amazing excellent tracks between 1996 and 2005? that sound was so unique and incredible.
