this just doesnt strike me as funky, "soulful" or have anything else to it which could make up for the lack of (IMO) musical depth and atrocious lyrics. Each to their own I suppose... The fact that I similarly have no understanding or liking of soul music, funk, or any kind of disco music ever made probably explains a lot
