Scuba, Bodycode, and Late of the Pier will all be included on the London DJ's Fabriclive CD.

This looks like it should be good. Nice to see a more 'traditional' mix with a reasonable number of tracks, and hopefully plenty of room for them to breathe.

looks decent! Scuba featuring on a few fabric comps recently which is good to see. Big fan of LOTP (the indie side showing through in me) and Argy/Floating Point tracks are excellent. Looking forward to this.

Dumont is the one to watch. More excited for his album than anyone else for a while.

Looks really really good, more my style than the fidgetty nonsense that has characterized FabricLive mixes for a long time.

Duke Dumont - FabricLive.51 cover
RA Review
Ever since winning a Diesel: U-Music Award for Best Unsigned Producer in 2006, London-based Adam Dyment's DJ and production alias The Duke Dumont has been attached to remixes for acts like Lily Allen, Mystery Jets and Bat For Lashes, or glimpsed halfway down the bill at nights like Bugged Out! and F..

it ain't that bad
just more like a Fabric mix instead of Fabric live
and certainly didn't push any boundaries
still a solid release tho...

There's some nice tracks on this although tend to agree that it doesn't really go anywhere.

Not at all.. I enjoy the mix - I'm one those who has the said attention span to get to the obscure ending. As are all of those who buy it I'd imagine!

A great and bold mix ... tracks 10-13 sublime and bold choice.

Anyone could put down dance floor killers on a fabriclive mix (it is for live init?) but this mix is more fabric than fabric live but that does mean it is a crap listen!

Nah, not impressed.....this is just plain boring. I can't believe that Agoria's Balance is being bracketed in the same review rating as this. *shakes head*

...listen now....

13 good tracks averagly mixed with no real high points. Vary rarely breaks out of its mould, but I do really like the tracks. Prefer house/techno/dub to stick to the fabric sets as it's actually quite nice to listen to see what FL normally have to offer.
3/5 would be fair.

I personally thought this wasnt bad, there are a couple of tunes in particular that really stood out to me. Its not the most exciting mix yeah but I think people are being a bit harsh on it, there are worse in the series!

a couple of good tracks and pretty solid throughout but have to agree with the review that is a tad dull, ASP and IDIOMA are definitely highlights but a lot of dross in between.

reviewed album for DiS here:

Overall, I like it.

That last track though...I'm loving it!

As far as being groundbreaking, 2.5 is definately deserved. Although, for the dancefloor; tracks 1-9 are some hip shaking bombs. And everybody keeps talking about the last few being obscure. Landscapes is the only track I didn't recognize and it is beautiful. K&G Beat has been on quite a few podcasts in the last few months. Fabric mixes should be aimed for the head and the body and at the same time have longetivety all combined. This is a good mix it just fails to fullfill all objectives. 3/5 for me.

I'm pretty much in with what others have said already - this isn't a bad mix by any means, just a bit misplaced being in the fabriclive series (and giving people certain expectations which it couldn't fulfill).

btw I think the "On The Streets" track is the Kollektiv Turmstrasse "Core Mix" rather than their "Let Freedom Ring Remix"

pretty average, tracks are ok but nothing special, most are pretty old as well...

a mix cd in this age of technology should be a masterpiece to aspire to not a repeat of what you can pay to see in the club

Nothing ground breaking about this mix.... but for some reason i love it and can't stop listening to it!
Sometimes simplicity is the key! Agree that it should not be fabriclive though.

I'm loving this album, techno in a FabricLive style. Pretty damn good!

Just listened to this entry in the FabricLive series and I must say that is solid. It would definitely be more at home in the Fabric series versus the FabricLive series but dont understand that universally poor reviews this received. Very interesting mix from a Producer that should be close to reaching his big 'break out' point any time now.
