Thu, 19 Jun 2003  /  Post a commentWho likes dressing up as a porn star? OK, sit down Grandma. Well, if you think you could dress it up as an adult star in colouful, 70's retro gear or ultra slick, pimp daddy threads and also like to club to deep grooves, then this one is for you.
The Porn Star Ball is set to make that one night of indulgence, real (and legal) as it takes to a North American tour with the very talented girls from Vivid video. (I don't think I need to explain here). On the bill throughout the tour will be either Christopher Lawrence or Donald Glaude. The years of experience between both boys are amazing with Donald having been playing for over 15 years.

Wed, 18 Jun 2003  /  Post a comment Richard Fearless and Tim Holmes make up the duo called Death In Vegas who have been responsible for bringing together a diverse range of musical genres together and outputting some of the finest rock and electronic music. Fearless started off with friend Steve Helier and from the humble beginnings of techno, electofunk and big guitar sounds and gigs with the Chemical Bro's, to sleek, endearing, timless rock music. Helier departed and thats where Tim Holmes came in to fill the gap.
They duo has collaborated with the likes of Iggy Pop, Liam Gallagher and Paul Weller and last year held a entirely sold out tour of the UK.
What I forgot to add is that both are keen DJ jocks who like to get behind the decks once and a while. The boys will be playing in New York City at Lit on Wednesday June 18 and Tribeca Grand on Thursdays June 19 which is presented by Formula PR and Sanctuary Records. Scorpio Rising is released on June 17 on Sanctuary Records.
Lit is located on 2nd Ave between 5 & 6 while Tribeca Grand is on Church. And you can RSVP with siouxz@formulapr.org. Post a comment
