Rodigan's Ram Jam will land in Bristol on April 27th.

The Ram Jam is a party series by BBC presenter and famed reggae selector David Rodigan. With each club night featuring Rodigan and a cast of like-minded DJs, the Bristol instalments in the last two years have been among the largest. This year, the multi-room affair at Motion Skate Park will feature a second room hosted by Metalheadz, headlined by Goldie who has joined Rodigan on some recent Ram Jam dates.

In addition to Rodigan, the main room will feature Sheffield's Toddla T with vocalists Shola Ama, DRS and Serosee in tow, along with reggae artist Bitty McLean, The Nextmen and drum & bass producer Dub Phizix. Goldie's room will gather a grip of drum & bass producers, including Ulterior Motive and Amit, with MCing duties by GQ and DRS. The Bristol Reggae Society, featuring Tudor Lion, will take the reins for the smaller Cave room. A few weeks later Rodigan will take his Ram Jam to London, with a show at The Forum on May 17th.

Tickets for the Bristol party are available here, while London tickets are here.

Manchester club Sankeys is set to close next month.

Since reopening seven years ago from the ashes of Sankeys Soap, the venue has regularly brought international talent to the Northern Quarter. However, it has been revealed that the club will shut in May, with owner David Vincent saying he wants to focus on Sankeys' sister venue in Ibiza. (The closure may also bring the long mooted New York branch of Sankeys closer to reality.) The club's last party will be an all-day affair on the bank holiday weekend of Monday, May 6th, with Joris Voorn, tINI, Enzo Siragusa and Darius Syrossian all confirmed to play alongside local residents Jozef K and Us & Them, and Sankeys Ibiza regular Bones. Two additional guests will also be announced closer to the date.

In a statement made via the club's Facebook page, Vincent said: "I have decided to close Sankeys in Manchester indefinitely this summer as I focus my attention on our third year in Ibiza. I want our Ibiza project to be the best club in the world, just like what we have achieved previously in Manchester, as I get the feeling this could be our summer. But I need my production and staff from Manchester to come to Ibiza with me to achieve this goal and therefore both clubs cannot be open at the same time. Who knows when we will be back in Manchester, or if we ever will be back, or what comes next in this great city I love. I want this current chapter of the club's history to end with a spectacular party, so we are rounding off the May bank holiday with a huge line-up. It's a 12-hour marathon set from 1 PM to 1 AM on Monday [May] 6th, with a stellar cast of names and the Sankeys Manchester residents, in the spirit of our epic 12-hour Tenaglia sessions."

Vase will host a showcase in Glasgow on May 24th.

The label was launched just over a year ago by Jacques Greene, the Montreal-based producer who had previously released on labels like LuckyMe and Night Slugs. Vase has since become a home for the kind of pop-tinged electronic music that Greene himself releases, and its growing roster includes newer artists like Samoyed, Arclight and Koreless. The latter producer, a native Glaswegian, will join Greene for the party at Make Do. Koreless himself has only had a few releases—he put out two 12-inches of spartan bass music on Pictures Music in 2011, before last year's Lost In Tokyo EP on Vase. Both artists will play live, with secret special guests teased on the flyer.

Tickets for the showcase are available on RA.
