Wed, 13 Oct 2010  /  1 CommentThis year's edition of the Oceanbeat festival is set to take place next month, bringing a slew of DJs and live acts to the island of Seychelles.
Now in its second year, Oceanbeat is an altogether different experience than most music festivals; in addition to taking place a few clicks north of Madagascar, the event mixes up its music programming with things like yacht cruises, daily beach trips and lots of Creole cuisine. Artists billed for this year include London house producer
Wbeeza, whose debut album
Into the Void will hit stores just a couple weeks later. He'll be joined by Barcelona's
John Talabot, Belgian duo
Spirit Catcher and Acid Jazz co-founder Eddie Piller among others. The festival is spread out across seven days and will take place once again at the Coral Strand hotel.
