New York's Blk|Market Membership crew may be a little bit late in announcing their New Year's Eve gig to gain entry into our round-up of the nation's best parties, but it was worth the wait: The duo of Taimur and Fahad will welcome Echospace to Brooklyn's Studio B on New Year's Day for a special afterhours set.

The duo of Rod Modell and Stephen Hitchell released one of 2007's most celebrated full-lengths in The Coldest Season, which earned a rare 5/5 score from RA. And it stands to reason that they'll be excellent suspects to bring the night down perfectly for this shindig that starts at 5 AM and runs until 10 AM with some of their sculpted dub techno stylings. Providing support, as always, will be Taimur and Fahad with recent Denver-transplant Crazy Larry also getting into the mix. Within walking distance (if you're ready to brave a bit of cold) from The Bunker's third annual Blood and Thunder bonanza, we're guessing this'll be where many of New York's hardened underground clubbers end up—or stop by before heading back.
