Appleblim added to RA Xmas lineup

- As if you needed yet another reason to head out to matter this coming weekend with (deep breath) Modeselektor, DJ Koze, Thomas Melchior, Lawrence, Shackleton, Move D, Trus'me, dOP, Motor City Drum Ensemble and Jozif on the bill, we've got one more Christmas surprise for you: Apple Pips label head Appleblim. The DJ behind RA's #3 mix of 2008, Dubtsep Allstars Volume 6, and a celebrated RA podcast earlier this year will be bringing his techno and dubstep records to the Greenwich club to bridge the gap between Modeselektor's frenzied, visual-heavy, champagne-spewing live show and Shackleton's more restrained dubstep live set. In addition to this lineup announcement, we've got one last bit of news for you before Saturday last night: the room breakdown. As you can see at the event page for the night, in Room One we've got the frenzied live performances from Modeselektor and dOP on tap, with Trus'me and DJ Koze holding down the decks and the aforementioned dubsteppers Shackleton and Appleblim closing out the night. In Room Two, RA staffer Jozif will be kicking things off with Motor City Drum Ensemble leading directly into a live set from Lawrence before Move D and Thomas Melchior cap off the night.
