Gui Boratto takes your breath away

The Brazilian will unleash his sophomore effort in March.

Brazilian pop techno wonder Gui Boratto has finished his second album for Kompakt.

The album, entitled Take My Breath Away, is once again a collection of tunes aimed as much for the heart as it is for the feet. Boratto signature big synths and propulsive drum programming are present throughout its eleven tracks, but while many of the songs aim for the same audience that loved his dance floor stuff the last time around on Chromaphobia, tunes like "Colors" and "Azzurra" are downtempo excursions that could conceivably bring his work to a new audience.

Tracklist
01. Take My Breath Away
02. Atomic Soda
03. Colors
04. Opus 17
05. No Turning Back
06. Azzurra
07. Les Enfants
08. Besides
09. Ballroom
10. Eggplant
11. Godet

Kompakt will release Gui Boratto's Take My Breath Away in stores on March 3, 2009.comment 60 Comments
