Great Stuff are set to celebrate their fifth anniversary with a double disc compilation that is aptly entitled Five Years of Great Stuff.

The Munich imprint began in 2003 as an outlet for peak-time electro-house, but has widened its remit over the past few years to include more minimal and techy sounds. You can hear both sides of the story on Lützenkirchen and label co-founder Tomcraft's mix on the first disc on the compilation, which crams together 35 tracks from the label's back catalogue to offer an action-packed look at what the imprint has accomplished. Of course, the big tunes from Coburn ("We Interrupt This Program") and Tocadisco (their remix of The Egg's Walking Away") are included, but there's plenty of room for more recent cuts from the likes of Butch, Dubfire and Tomcraft himself.

Long term fans of the label will probably be more interested in the second CD, which is made up of new and exclusive remixes from the current Great Stuff roster. Each artist included chose their personal favourite from the label and produced their own special version specifically for the compilation. The only exception? An original track from Lützenkirchen and Tomcraft called, of course, "Birthday Present."
