Konrad Black will be the next DJ to take the reins of the Watergate mix series.

The collection of CDs celebrating the Berlin club previous tapped Onur Özer and Sascha Funke for the honor, but Black will be the first North American-born artist to take on the task of aurally representing the sound of a Watergate set in mix CD format—his debut officially released mix. The set doesn't have a tracklisting as of yet, but a release date has been scheduled for sometime in March.

Those in the United States unable to make it out to see one of his sets at Watergate and unable to wait for the mix CD are in luck. Black will be touring throughout February in a six date tour that will see him hit both coasts. Washington DC, Denver, Miami, Atlanta, Boston and New York will all get the honor of seeing the Wagon Repair man in person.

Sat, 08 Dec 2012Thanks 'thejaguar' gave this a chance based of your recommendation... hard and dark, just like I like it

Sat, 17 Nov 2012What kind of moron calls this a boring CD? This is some of the darkest and most unrelenting shit I have heard on any mix CD. That's what the RA reviewer appears to be criticizing, that this disc is too dark, unemotional and lacks soul.

Not that I agree with that sentiment, because I enjoyed this disc a lot. It's absolute nuts, turns into chaos at the end.

Am I listening to the same mix as everybody else? What is 'Sub Zero' if not banging?

the Discogs track reminds me of Teste - The... More

Sat, 18 Feb 2012Stellar stellar mix CD. I have to agree with the other comments as per MNML SHOULD NOT HAVE 'BANGING' MOMENTS. So smooth, and if you enjoy a bit of minimal this mix is absolutely perfect for predrinks!

Fri, 27 Aug 2010Why would you expect a minimal mix to have 'banging' moments in the first place? Amazing mix, loved each and every track. Top top quality mix.

Wed, 03 Mar 2010I COMPLETELY AGREE with you JOSH.

I have heard the mix and also think it lacks variation and is also too monotone.

The mixing is excellent but all of the tracks seem to have the same characteristics. There is not enough banging moments!!!!!

By far the most boring minimal mix I have ever heard and I am a huge fan of minimal.

I would also give it 2.5. Dont see what the hype is.
