As summer departs and autumn looms, we are all in for some exciting events as the following DJ's have been to confirmed to make the trip down under. RA gives you a little run down on each:

Cut La Roc - March.2002
Cut La RocThis world class turntabilist rocked Australia on his recent tour and this time is expected to be no different. With a box full of fresh vinyl and nasty Cdr's this UK Brighton boy is looking forward to cut-up some of our best clubs. Gaining worldwide recognition with his debut album 'La Roc Rocs' which encaptualted "everything from deft rap cut-ups to camped up jump-up jungle" things have only got better since. With tours taking him throughout Asia, the USA and of course his native UK. His sets at the Big Beat Boutique continue to be revelatory affairs too, Lee either turning on the showmanship by scratching with all manner of limbs or slapping down a wall-to-wall selection of party-stoking anthems. All this coupled with the fact that he holds the record for DJing on the most decks @ one time, 9!!! Peter Lee as his Family and Friends know him is one not to miss.
Cut La Roc Dates
Sydney - Thurs 28/3
Melbourne - Fri 29/3
Perth - Sun 31/3

Kenny Dope Gonzalez - April.2002
kenny dope gonzalezBorn in 1970, Kenny has been absorbing the Brooklyn Hip-Hop beats ever since. Known as one of New Yorks original Rhythm generators it wasn’t until he was fed up of listening to “terrible records,” that he decided to put his mind to making music. Producing the 'Bucketheads' album [inside three days] led to Kenny’s big break with the standout track on the long player ‘The Bomb’ becoming a hit everywhere from the Chicago underground scene to the more mainstream Euro charts. Having worked with one of the best in Little Louie Vega he has produced both quality in the studio and behind the decks. ‘Madd Racakett’ his latest BBE compilation is a testament to his hip-hop sound and a fine example of why Kenny is set to excite Australians throughout.
Kenny Dope Gonzalez Dates
Melbourne - Fri 29/3
Sydney - Sat 30/3
Perth - Sun 31/3

Anthony Pappa - March.2002
pappaAustralian born world class progressive talent Anthony Pappa will soon be starting his short-but-sweet tour to promote his new compilation cd which will be released in March. Brought up in Melbourne and with residences throughout the world Anthony is one of the leading lights in a an abundance of DJ's banging out progressive house nowadays. Known for his deep, thought provoking and intelligent sets, he is a no questions asked 'must see' for any Australian prog house fan. Speaking about his latest album Anthony is said to be 'really pleased' with the results and is 'excited' about returning to OZ.
Anthony Pappa Tour Dates
Sydney - Fri 29/3
Melbourne - Sat 30/3
Perth - Sun 31/3

James Lavelle - March 12.02.2002
James LavelleHaving began his musical experiments with his parents record collection, buy playing Stevie Wonder and Deep Purple, James has developed into a DJ who still thanks his grass roots musical variation for helping create the sound that is nowadays a James Lavelle set. The heavy hip-hop influence is evident in his work, including his production work behind the ‘Sexy Beast’ film soundtrack. Having set up the Mo’wax hip-hop/breaks label in 1992 it has given James the freedom to experiment in the studio and in clubs. He has played throughout the world and always surprises those who see him live with a few ‘corker’ tracks. Keep a listen out for some of the upcoming Mo’wax releases in his set. His dates are still yet to be confirmed.

These four represent only a small portion of the international fleet that arrives in March, others include Judge Jules and those on the amazing Two Tribes bill.
