DFA's Juan MacLean has announced the release of his second full-length, due out in April.
For fans of MacLean, it may have seemed like an eternity since lead single, "Happy House" hit record shelves. But in reality, it's only been 11 months. (Then again, who's counting?) The Future Will Come features Chicago house-aping anthem "Happy House" as its closer and second single, "The Simple Life," as its opener. It bookends eight (mostly) shorter tracks that deliver on MacLean's promise of a poppier, synth-driven sound and vocals from Nancy Whang. The album will be preceded by yet another 12-inch, this time for "One Day."
