RBMA 2010 : LONDON

The Leipzig-based Moon Harbour label are set to release their Inhouse Vol. 3 mix next month.

As the name suggests, the series focuses solely on tracks that have been released on the label, with previous instalments being mixed up by Marlow and Luna City Express. Vol. 3 has been compiled by Swedish producer/DJ Martinez, who's no stranger to mixing label compilations. Indeed, he's already been tasked with compiling selections from both Steve Bug's Audiomatique, as well as his own Out Of Orbit imprint on Restructured Layers, where he spliced the label's back catalogue into a streamlined whole.

Inhouse Vol. 3 sees him return to a more conventional mixing style, flipping between recent Moon Harbour material and exclusive new tracks from the likes of Mathias Kaden, Boris Werner and Vera. Vinyl fans will be happy to hear that an unmixed double pack of the exclusive tracks will see a release alongside the CD version.

Mon, 23 Feb 2009i have to agree with burny25, it used to one of my favorite labels but recently it's gone tribal minimal house and i just can't get down. i still pick up a release once in a while but it's not the label it used to be. i'm sure i'll pick up the vinyl but not really interested in the mix.

Mon, 23 Feb 2009i highly appreciated the very early releases on moon harbour recordings. but i didn't feel very comfortable with the most recent output...dunno why...the tracks made me feel cold in a certain way...but there's one exception: luna city express - seven (agnès club mix), which is a stunning tune!!!
