- The beloved London record shop will unleash its first 12-inch next month.
Celebrated London record retailer Phonica Records will put its money where its mouth is (or something like that) when it opens a record label of its own in mid-March.
The aptly titled Phonica Records will unleash its first 12-inch with Phonica employee Hector in tandem with Ben Bryant. The tune is called "Tension," and is described by the PR as "a masterclass in suspense and hypnosis." Will Saul and Brendon Moeller would no doubt agree—they charted the record late last year. On remix duty for this two-tracker? None other than dubstepper Appleblim in collaboration with fellow Bristol resident Al Tourettes.
