  • Stephen Hitchell is the owner of the last perfect score doled out by an RA record reviewer—a 5/5 for his Tswana Dub 12-inch under the Intrusion moniker in August 2008—and it looks as though the music cognoscenti have taken notice. The producer will do a live PA for the very first time under that name as part of a special party in Chicago early next month. The occasion is the birthday bash for influential music blogger Steve Mizek, the proprietor of Little White Earbuds, and his frequent DJing partner-in-crime James Kartsaklis. Joining Hitchell in the live PA arena will be bvdub, who will be flying in from San Francisco for the affair and undoubtedly both will bring a hearty amount of dub techno to the table. The duo have also brought in a few DJs for the night as well: New York's Eric Cloutier and Chicago's Tyrel Williams will take to the decks in what is looking to be a night to remember.
