- The Dresden-based producer will release his debut album on Philpot in May.
House producer Break SL may only be in his early 20's, but he'll have a debut album to his name come May.
Entitled City Wasteland, the full-length will be released on Philpot—the home of his two previous 12-inches—and is set to feature the title tracks from both ("Trombone," "Laguna Seca"). The rest of the record, however, is new material composed for its release and continues SL's deeply melodic and patient sound. It's low-key house music akin to Jus-Ed or, as you might expect, much of the rest of Philpot's roster. Deep pads are abundant, and one track you even get to hear Lohse's voice for the first time in concert with Syjana.
