  • Dubstep imprint Tectonic Recordings will once again showcase its wares for the CD buying public this spring when they release the second edition in their Tectonic Plates series. The Bristol label is owned by Pinch and he has gathered together tunes from some of dubstep's leading lights. Martyn, 2562, Skream, Benga, Flying Lotus, Joker and Pinch himself all feature on the two disc compilation. And, as if you needed further proof that dubstep and techno are engaged in a love affair of late, Berlin's Shed shows up with a remix of Peverelist as well. All of the tracks included on the first disc will comprise "the entire imminent, and as yet unreleased, four part 12-inch vinyl Plates series in all its glory" with the second disc taken up by a mix from Pinch which "brings together highlight cuts and unreleased tracks."
