- The French pop quartet will be the next curators in Kitsuné's Tabloid series.
French electro poppers Phoenix will be next in line to showcase their influences for Kitsuné's Tabloid series.
The quartet has chosen an extremely varied list of acts for the compilation, going from the indie rock of Dirty Projectors, the avant glam rock of Roxy Music and pop music from the likes of Dennis Wilson and Ritchie Valens. It's a fascinating look into the sounds that make up Phoenix's universe and makes sense when you listen to their elegantly restrained pop. We haven't heard the results yet, but we're guessing this one is not mixed in the same manner that Digitalism's previous entry into Kitsuné's Tabloid series.
