3 Chairs members Rick Wilhite and Marcellus Pittman will play the London party next Saturday.
Rick Wilhite and Marcellus Pittman will fly over from Detroit for next weekend's Need2soul event.
The duo make up one half of the 3 Chairs collective alongside Theo Parrish and Moodymann, but they'll be bringing their deep Detroit house sound to London's Cargo on Saturday 25th April without the help of their studio-mates. Wilhite has appeared in London a few times before, most recently stepping in to replace Moodymann at last November's Bar Rumba gig, but the Need2soul party will be the first time that Pittman has ventured to the capital to strut his stuff behind the decks. The night also boasts another first, with London-based house-head Wbeeza performing his debut live show. Recently signed to Third Ear, the 20-year old producer's inventive Detroit-esque stylings should fit well with Wilhite and Pittman's raw house and disco sound.
