- Wolfgang Voigt will perform his ambient work in Chicago, Montreal and New York later this month.
As reported on RA in our Mutek announcement, Wolfgang Voigt will premiere his Gas project for the first time in North America later this month.
In addition to his date at the Montreal festival, however, Voigt has added two American dates for fans of the ambient project. Voigt will visit the Chicago Cultural Center on May 26th for a free show in the Windy City. (Arrive early, though, seating is limited.) And he will be playing after his Mutek gig in New York at Columbia University's Miller Theatre as part of the renowned Wordless Music series. The event will be opened with a performance of Brian Eno's pioneering Discreet Music.
