Gus Gus will unveil their sixth full-length in September via
Kompakt.
The album follows in the wake of the 2007 effort,
Forever, which saw the group touring at festivals such as Glastonbury, Split, Creamfields and Benecassim. Expect a similar response from this record, as it is their first to be released on the venerated Cologne imprint. Daníel Ágúst, President Bongo and Veiran will once again make up the core of the group, and over the course of six lengthy songs they get in touch with their dance floor side. We haven't heard the album yet, unfortunately, but with Jimi Tenor guesting and the
RA-approved single "Add This Song" in the mix, we can't help but be excited to see what the Icelanders have cooked up.
