  • Claude VonStroke will head back home this May for a special party before the official opening of Movement 2009. The event will take place on the Friday before things get properly kicked off in the Motor City at Hart Plaza and will see VonStroke welcoming label mates Voodeux for the premiere of their live show. The performance will come in advance of the duo's new album for Mothership, which VonStroke calls a "special breed of creepy techno." VonStroke will also be playing on the night and will undoubtedly be celebrating the release of his new Fabric mix with what is promised to be a Detroit/Mothership set full of new tunes, including a remix of Kenny Larkin as well as a joint production with Kevin Saunderson. Fellow Mothership DJ Monty Luke opens. The best part of all of this? It's completely free. All you have to do to get in is simply e-mail [email protected] to RSVP.
