  • Alan Abrahams is set to release his second album as Bodycode in June. Abrahams' Bodycode project is an outlet for his more dance floor-orientated material, and originally came about after Spectral Sound boss Samuel Valenti asked him to come up with a new name for his output on the label. His second Bodycode album, entitled Immune, sees Abrahams commit tracks to tape from his evolving live set, which marries his micro-sampling style with polyrhythmic tribal rhythms and wistful melodies. Readers who checked out his RA podcast from last August will have a good idea of what the record sounds like, with live versions of four of the album's tracks getting an airing. After lending her voice to Abrahams' "Body to Body" single, Uzuri boss Lerato (AKA Lakuti) again helps out on vocal duties for lead-off single "What Did You Say," which will precede the album along with an accompanying remix from pioneering UK producer Peter Ford in his Baby Ford guise.
