Irish promotional crews Nightflight and Bodytonic have come together to launch Airbound.
Instead of hosting a festival in their home country, the two groups will be taking the party abroad to the Croatian fishing village of Petrcane, which is quickly becoming a hotbed for summer events due to its picturesque coastal location. Airbound's musical focus in the daytime is sunkissed soul, funk and disco, and as is to be expected, they'll be hosting daily boat parties so you can get some real yacht rocking done.
At night, the party moves over to the '60s-styled
Barbarella's Discoteque for some nocturnal house and techno action from the likes of Berghain residents
Marcel Dettmann and
Ben Klock. Most of the bill is taken up by the pick of Ireland's local talent, including
Chymera,
Mano Le Tough and the Nightflight and Bodytonic residents, but there'll also be appearances from synth wizard
Alexander Robotnick, disco theorist
Daniel Wang, folk rocker Jape and Border Community's
Nathan Fake.
