  • Butane will release his debut album for Crosstown Rebels later this year. The producer known to his mother as Andrew Rasse has completed his second full-length, Endless Forms, for Damian Lazarus' imprint, one which takes inspiration from none other than Charles Darwin. Says the legendary English naturalist, "From so simple a beginning, endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being evolved." Sounds like techno to us. Rasse released his debut album on his own Alphahouse imprint, but in the spirit of the album chose to go a different route in both outlet and in sound: "My goal is to evolve as a person and an artist. I get bored with the same places, the same tastes, the same sounds. My music will always be an expression of my struggle to become a more complete person, we're constantly adapting. My music evolves with me." Tracklisting 01. This Is Your Brain on Music 02. His Story 03. Nite Vision 04. Mutation 05. Transmit the Music in Me 06. Almost Finished 07. Idle 08. Adaptation 09. Inferno Jack Crosstown Rebels will release Butane's Endless Forms on June 22, 2009.
