- The shadowy Detroit electro group will make their debut American jaunt later this month.
- Shadowy Detroit group Dopplereffekt will take to the stage for their debut American tour later this month. The electro sound of Dopplereffekt has often been dissected, but it's still hard to figure out just why Michigan natives would adopt a German name, and then go onto sing in English about science, sex and politics. Whatever the reason, the group has been making a host of live appearances over the course of the past year in Europe and will finally take their show to the road in America later this month, hitting Miami, New York, Los Angeles and the unlikely techno haunt of Austin, Texas. It marks the first time that the group has toured in their 15 year history.
