  • West London dubstep heavy-hitter Caspa checks into Mixed Bizness this Bank Holiday Sunday to make his Glasgow debut. 26 year-old Caspa, AKA Gary McCann, is one of the youngest Fabric residents around, but he's been wowing London crowds along with dubstep/wobble cohort Rusko with their bi-monthly "Dub Police" party for some time—so much so in fact that Fabric tapped the duo recently for the Fabric.Live series. The producer also recently released his first solo long-player, Everybody's Talking, Nobody's Listening!, which no doubt led Mixed Bizness to book the rising star. The Bizness crew, of course, are more than your average promoters, representing a select roster of burgeoning artists and DJs including hip-hop mixtape favourite DJ Moneyshot, Parker, and Glasgow's own Jackmaster. Joining Caspa will be SubCity Radio's Djamba and Ninja Tunes-affiliated, head honcho Benny Boom, who comments, "We can't wait to bring Caspa's serious low-slung-face-smashing-funk to Glasgow for the first time. It's going to be big, bassy and everyone should be ready to bounce."
