  • The Red Bull Music Academy will host three Australian lectures, starting this Thursday. Organisers at the Australian Red Bull headquarters have dipped their hands into the international dubstep and hip-hop circles, enlisting the UK’s Kode9 and the USA's Blu & Exile as guest lecturers for this month's information sessions for the 2010 edition of the Red Bull Music Academy, set to happen in London. The Academy—now in its tenth year—attracts thousands of applications for each session, educating producers, DJs and vocalists about making music. Recent graduates of the programme include Flying Lotus, Hudson Mohawke and RA podcaster Culoe De Song. The sessions will give hopefuls information about the Academy's selection process, while also providing an insight into the international music industry's workings. Dubstepper Kode9 will holding the chalk in Sydney and Perth, while hip-hop duo Blu & Exile will be in front of the Red Bull blackboard in Brisbane. All information sessions will be held free of charge.
