Sally Shapiro will return in August with her second full-length.

Shapiro, along with Swedish producer Johan Agebjörn, have been crafting delicate Italo pop songs since 2006 when the "I'll Be By Your Side" single was released by Diskokaine. Since then, the duo has traveled around the world, and made the jump from the tiny imprint over to the larger Permanent Vacation and Paper Bag labels. Both of those companies will once again be involved with the release of Shapiro's sophomore effort, entitled My Guilty Pleasure.

It's an album that the duo describes as "a bit more poppy and varied" with collaborations slated from Cloetta Pari and Tensnake, as well as "a lot of songwriting assistance from Roger Gunnarsson." At the end of the day, though, they have modest aims for the record: "It will hopefully make you fall in love with the person sitting next to you on the bus," says Sally.

Tracklist
01. Swimming Through the Blue Lagoon
02. Looking at the Stars
03. Love in July
04. My Fantasy
05. Let It Show
06. Moonlight Dance
07. Save Your Love
08. He Keeps Me Alive [not on North American version]
09. Dying in Africa
10. Jackie Jackie [not on North American version]
11. Miracle

Paper Bag and Permanent Vacation will release Sally Shapiro's My Guilty Pleasure on August 25, 2009.
