Electric Zoo adds Lindstrøm, Prins Thomas

The Norwegian nu-disco kingpins join Ben Watt, Francois K, Mark Ernestus and more in the latest line-up announcement.

Lindstrøm and Prins Thomas headline the latest line-up additions to the Electric Zoo Festival.

The event, which will take place over Labor Day weekend in New York, will feature more than 50 artists over four stages and go for 11 hours each day. Ben Watt, François K, Cassy, Seth Troxler and more have been added to the line-up in this set of additions, which nearly completes the entire slate of acts. Perhaps the most curious—and anticipated act—of the recent announcement is Mark Ernestus of Rhythm & Sound. He'll be joined by legendary vocalist Milton Henry for the rare Stateside appearance, in a performance that should have dub techno fans salivating. comment 67 Comments

Mon, 21 Sep 2009Thanks for the review, overall it was a success, the organization was impressive, from transportation to friendly security to space, it all made for a great experience.
And agreed, call me old school, but the Knuckles/Butler set was the highlight, put a big smile on my face! (i have to thank Steve Angello for that as i was comfortable leaving 10 minutes into his uninspired set to go enjoy the House legend...).
Looking forward to next year.

Fri, 18 Sep 2009omfg just saw the youtube vids. glad i didn't go. i mean, every festival has a couple of questionable headliners to sell its tickets. but here there was just too much trash relative to the goodies.

yeah, minitek had a smaller scale and might have failed on some levels, but look at the line-up they had. it was pure gold compared to electric zoo. crowd seemed nicer too
