  • Native Instruments' Lead International Product Specialist Joshua Fiestra will drop in to Sydney's Burdekin Hotel for a one-night clinic next month. Taking place on Wednesday 8th July, Fiestra will be giving a personal demonstration of Traktor Pro and Komplete, as well as showcasing NI’s latest product, Maschine. Traktor Pro has been championed by Richie Hawtin, Dubfire and John Digweed, and has become one of the worl'’s most used and recognised digital DJ packages, whereas Maschine, an MPC-like hardware controller, reached Australia only this year, complete with a 5GB sound library. Undoubtedly, a hands-on demonstration from a Native Instruments technician will clear up queries regarding navigating through the Maschine’s 300 inbuilt drum kits and 400 sliced loops. After the demonstrations from Fiestra, The Potbellez will be gracing the stage for a rare intimate performance, where they’ll be exhibiting how Traktor Skratch Pro works as part of their live rig. Additionally, those who register at spankrecords.com.au/enkounter2009 before the night will go in the running to win a copy of either Reaktor 5, Massive or Traktor Pro.
