Rinse FM are set to celebrate their fifteenth birthday next month by throwing a party at London's matter club.

The pirate radio station has been there through most of the developments in the underground UK scene over the past decade and a half, originally focusing on jungle and UK garage before championing the sounds of grime, dubstep, and now UK funky. The party, which takes place on Friday 31st July, will have a line-up that focuses more on the last five years of developments on the station, ranging from the intelligent grime antics of the Boy Better Know crew through to the soca-infused funky of Marcus Nasty, Geeneus and Crazy Cousinz. Of course, with it being Rinse, there'll be plenty of dubstep packed into the three rooms at matter, with Skream, Benga, Kode9, N-Type, Youngsta, Caspa, Chef and Plastician amongst the DJs taking to the decks for some chest-rattling shenanigans.
