Greece's Reworks Festival have announced the first acts that will grace its stages for their fifth anniversary.
Taking place over two days in the middle of September, Reworks is regarded as the biggest music event in the city of Thessaloniki, hosting more than 100 acts over its seven different stages. This year's bash will be headlined by Cocoon head honcho
Sven Vath, who'll be showing the assembled Greek masses what's been soundtracking the summer season at his Ibiza residency, and there'll be plenty more techno courtesy of
Paul Kalkbrenner and Mobilee signing
And.ID.
Dennis Ferrer will be bringing himself and the energetic tag-team of
The Martinez Brothers over from New York for some bumping US house action, and
Argy will also make an appearance after his recent collaboration with the brothers.
Ed Banger's
DJ Mehdi will also bring his fun-filled electro-house show to Greece for the festival, but it's not just four-to-the-floor beats all weekend, as proved by the booking of LA-based wonky instrumental hip-hopper
Daedelus. Apart from the music, Reworks will also host extensive installations and exhibitions, which will take place in two amphitheatres and other venues within the festival area.
