The East London bash promises Matthew Dear, Kieran Hebden and more in August.
The Hackney-based Field Day have announced further additions to their line-up.
Although it hasn't been without its problems, East London festival Field Day will return for its third outing on Saturday August 1st, and will once again bring a suitably sizable line-up to Victoria Park. The angle for this one is indie with a splash of electronic, as headliners including Mogwai, The Horrors, Little Boots, Santigold and Mystery Jets would suggest.
Promoters Eat Your Own Ears, Adventures In The Beetroot Field and Bugged Out are all on board, which serves to reinforces the event's crossover credentials. Spread across the stages then will be DJ sets from the likes of Aeroplane, Fake Blood, JD Twitch, Erol Alkan, Skream and Rusko, while Fennesz, Audion, Delphic and Drums Of Death will all perform live. If this all sounds a little too, er, musical, there is always the option of getting stuck into some onion peeling, tug of war, crockery smashing, ping pong or tombola action on Village Mentality's Village Green.
