Bulgarian festival Spirit of Bourgas have announced the initial line-up for their August event.

Now entering its second year, Spirit of Bourgas will once again take place at Bourgas' Central Beach—a 20km stretch of white sands on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The lineup is yet to be published in its entirety, but there will be eventually 100 acts performing over three days on seven stages. Those making the trip should expect a truly mixed musical bag with mainstream rock, salsa, punk, reggae, Balkan, dub, blues and electronic all getting a look in.

And what of the electronic performances? Aside from a scattering of drum & bass and techno across the main stage from LTJ Bukem, Sub Focus, Speedy J and Alexander Kowalski, the place for the discerning dance fans looks to be the Go Dutch stage which will host a number of key labels and DJs over the weekend. Kazz Electronic and Remote Area host the Friday with Lauhaus, Makcim, Boris Werner and Julien Chaptal; Saturday is the turn of influential Amsterdam techno imprint Rush Hour who have called upon Tom Trago, Aardvarck, Antal, Cinnaman and Legowelt (performing as Nacho Patrol), while Sunday's spot belongs to Welcome To The Future, which will feature, among others, William Djoko, Quazar, Tom Ruijg and Dorine Dorado.
