  • Free Danish festival Stella Polaris are set to host Groove Armada and Trentemoller for their upcoming August event. The festival is to be held in the Danish capital Copenhagen within the National Gallery gardens on August 2nd, and hopes to welcome in excess of 30,000 revelers from across the globe. Taking place in the surrounds of lakes, gardens, and general green pleasantness, the event boasts all the natural amenities you would hope for at a chill-out festival, together with a decently sized musical program. Headlining the Danish day out then will be seasoned festival pro, and one half of Groove Armada, Andy Cato. The musical ethos of the day promises to showcase some of Denmark's forward thinkers in the electronic music world, and on this basis, they don't come more suited than internationally acclaimed DJ/producer Trentemoller. Also appearing is Tom Middleton who will no doubt tailor his sound for the horizontal, and festival organizers Nicka and Kalle B who hope to give attendees a taste of Danish-style dub-techno early on in the proceedings.
