Jimi Tenor and Tony Allen are to collaborate for the next chapter in Strut's Information Inspiration series.
The acclaimed set reaches its fourth edition with the duo. Both hardly need an introduction: Allen is, of course, the legendary percussionist who helped popularize Afrobeat, while Finnish electronic musician and jazz maverick Jimi Tenor has released music on Warp and PIAS. The two came together, as is usual for the series, and recorded the album in less than a week, resulting in a loose collection of tunes.
