Way Out West have announced details surrounding the release of their fourth studio album, We Love Machine.

Despite a comparative slow down in their output in recent years, melody bound former proggers Nick Warren and Jody Wisternoff AKA Way Out West have continued to resolutely peruse the LP format after more than 15 years of releasing records. The follow-up to 2004's Donʼt Look Now sees the duo putting forth "their ode to classic analog synths and the beautiful music that's made with them" on 12 previously un-released cuts. Jonathan Mendelsohn lends guest vocals to "Only Love" which acts as the lead single and arrives next month with remixes from Jerome Isma Ae, John Tejada and Glimpse.

Tracklist
01. We Love Machine
02. One Bright Night
03. Only Love
04. BodyMotion
05. Pleasure Control
06. Future Perfect
07. Survival
08. Ultraviolet
09. Tales of the Rabid Monks
10. Surrender
11. The Doors Are Where the Windows Should Be
12. Tierre del Fuego

Hope Recordings will release Way Out West's We Love Machine on October 5th 2009.comment 20 Comments

Why is 'Spaceman' not on the album?

Dunno - not sure if it really fits with the rest of the album?

Great track though.

Wed, 14 Oct 2009I miss the intensify and self-titled era way out west sound. 'Secret' will always be one of my favorite techno-as-soundtrack-to-life moments of my teens. This album pales in comparison to the early works. Sorry guys...
