Jay Haze will slip back into his Fuckpony guise in October with the release of Let The Love Flow , the second full-length under the name.
He's really not messing around is he? A run that began with the release of Jay Haze's 2008 Love & Beyond LP, passing a mix for the wildly popular Fabric series and numerous club-facing singles will culminate in the arrival of a second Fuckpony album in late October. The project, which began life as a duo owing to the inclusion of fellow Berliner Samim , is now solely a vehicle for Haze's explorations into the warped undercurrent of house.
Ellen Allien's BPitch Control imprint are set to put-out Let The Love Flow , re-establishing a link with Haze that dates back to 2007's DBX and Fabric employee tribute "Lady Judy." The talk surrounding Haze's latest is of an "angular, sharp-edged pop" theme that bleeds over ten tracks, all of which were said to be built from the ground up. Or, in other words, without samples. The man himself takes to the mic for all of the the album's vocal cuts barring "Fall Into Me" (which features Chela Simone and Laila Tov) and "I Know It Happened" which again features Simone.
