- The Spanish DJ and producer is set to release the latest mix CD for German techno giants Tresor.
Oscar Mulero is set to release a single disc mix CD on Tresor later this year.
Mulero is one of the most respected DJs in Spain's electronic music scene, and has been DJing professionally for over twenty years. Originally Mulero began playing gothic rock and EBM, but this changed in 1991 when he founded Madrid's Omen club, which became the country's techno mecca. As time progressed, Oscar began to move towards the harder American sounds of Jeff Mills and Joey Beltram, before embracing the UK school of Surgeon and James Ruskin et al.
It's this blend of tougher UK and US sounds that make up the foundation of Under Review, which comprises of tracks that have been released on Tresor throughout the years. Jeff Mills, Surgeon, James Ruskin, Robert Hood, Drexciya, Female and Juan Atkins all feature, with Maurizio, Pacou, Steve Rachmad and Mulero himself representing the European sound of the time.
