Annie Mac is set to release a 2 CD mix for Island Records next month.

The BBC DJ and Twitter fan will continue to push the sound that she's been associated with for the past few years. That means there'll be plenty of electro house, dubstep and pop fodder to go around. "The first CD is an hour of more peak time stuff. It's indicative of a typical DJ set for me, starting off a bit bouncy and fun and then getting a little harder and ending in dubstep," says Mac. In contrast, CD 2 is for the home-listening set with what she's calling "Balearic dubstep" among other things.

Fri, 11 Sep 2009I’ve seen this in New York Times magazine. The New York Times just announced the launch of a new magazine, called National Affairs magazine. National Affairs magazine is a news journal, and it will be heavy on the social science angle. This isn't reading for people that read celebrity gossip magazines. (It rhymes with 'schmidiots.') The magazine is more or less a continuation of an older magazine, The Public Interest. The Public Interest ran for forty years, from 1965 to 2005, but had to close... More
